Yes, well, as you may have noticed, I did change the theme. The last one was. . .temporary. This time, I did a kind of chilly, cold, rainy theme, because it's so hot outside I figured we all needed a good soaking. This theme should stick around for a little longer. I like it.
My art studio is finally finished! It's amazing, and wonderful, and stocked with supplies I'm just itching to use, and Mom, if you're reading this, thanks so much! You're the bestest!
Well, it stormed on the fourth, so no fireworks. :( I was sad. But all of the fireworks in North Carolina are really. . .not good. All we have are little fountains, because it's illegal to shoot things into the sky without a commercial license, because of all the trees. My dad's cousin gave us fireworks when we visited them, and they live in another state, and in that particular state it's not illegal to shoot things into the sky. Anyway, she owned a fireworks stand, and gave us a bunch of amazing fireworks to bring back here.
But lo and behold, you can't ship or fly fireworks! And if you drive back by car (which we didn't; we flew) there is a good chance of getting arrested if a policeman finds them. So they're still back in another state. We're going to see if we can get them for New Years.
We're still fostering kittens. I'll try to post pictures later.
