Alright, everyone! I did it! Be proud! I published the next part of OVERWHELMED to the blog. I did it. I actually did. I have to go, but be sure to check it out! It's short, but..Hey, it's something. I'll be back soon. :)

I didn't quite know what to call this post, so I thought I would name it after my favorite Halloween candy. Anyway, I have made a vow to update more, so here goes!

Of course I had to post on Halloween. Why in the world not? Besides, I finished school early.

I'm not trick-or-treating this year, I am thirteen and consider myself a bit old for that. (No offense, it's personal :) I'm just going to hand out candy to the trick-or-treat-ors, something I've never done. Besides, my mom won't be home, and neither will my brother, and so me and Dad wanted to keep it casual. However, I do have a novel idea that I, of course, have to try.  I'm going to dress up Taz! (my half-grown kitten.) Here are some pictures of cats in costume. I found these funny ;D
Now aren't those the greatest cat Halloween costumes? I'm going out later to find one for Taz. He'll be such a cutie :D

Otherwise I haven't had much going on. School, chores, school, freezing cold weather, school, theater practice, school, art class, and school. Fun fun.  :) Well, at least I'm learning. :)

Have any of you seen the Hamster on a Piano Eating Popcorn video on Youtube? It's the funniest thing ever. I cracked up. I can't post links on this laptop, but you people should totally check it out!

About the short stories: If you haven't noticed, I'm taking a bit of a break from them. It's stressful to write. I will, however, get back to it soon. I promise. a

Alright, I'll update again soon. HAPPY HALLOWEEN......!!
I know it's been..well, exactly twenty days since I posted. I never had any idea that I'd be so busy! I've been going to school, and doing school, (...) getting feather extensions (YESS!!! Pink zebra :D) going to the fair, hanging with friends, painting, cleaning, and cooking. It's a little insane to be me right now. 0_0

Anyway, my painting I blogged about a post or two ago has sold! I got $100. I opened a savings account, finally. :) Recently, I've started a painting at art class of pumpkins, because (1) it seems appropriate and (2) my Aunt's birthday is next month and she loves pumpkins. I'm really excited. Painting is so fun.

Someone told me the other day that I had gotten a lot taller. YAY! I, President of the American Society of Annoyingly Short People, have GROWN! I'm so happy.

Okay, I know this is about to sound strange, but- Um..I kind of caught the Bieber Fever. I know, I know. Don't criticize. :D

I have to go to SLEEPING BEAUTY practice. Be back later. :D

Well, I didn't like the last theme, so I changed it...I know, I know. I'll leave it like this for a while. I love the picture header. I took it in England. It's funny, because I never take good pictures and usually end up with a stack of ripped pictures in my wastebasket.

Anyway, I'm working on a picture to enter in the State Fair. It's on an 11" by 14" canvas, done in oils, of a friend I go to art with. After the Fair, I'll post pictures of it.

One last thing before I go- I was searching around on Netflix last Friday night, and came across a series I hadn't seen in a year, maybe two. It's called Shaun the Sheep. It's my favorite animated show. Actually, though, it's claymation. So maybe I should say it's my favorite claymation show. But that's really the only one I watch. . .Hmm. My goodness, I read what I just wrote. I do ramble, don't I?

Shaun the Sheep is about a (surprise!) sheep. He and his flock live on a farm in England. There aren't any words, but there are noises, gestures, etc. The sheep are quite wacky and very clever, and so they can't let the farmer know they aren't normal sheep.  It's so funny! I love Shaun the Sheep!

Anyhow, I've got to go- I'll be back soon, I promise.

We got the cast list for Sleeping Beauty, the play I'm doing that I blogged about a few posts ago. I'm a seamstress for Sleeping Beauty (AKA Joli). It's going to be so fun!! I'm thrilled. I'll blog more later; I'm in a coffee shop and it's busy.   :)
Hey everyone! I'm glad to be blogging, though my computer is *not* fixed yet. (Tapping my foot, Dad! :) Well, I'm humming along to Good Life on the radio, but I'm still really sad. A close friend's father has passed away. He was a mentor, a teacher to me. He was really wonderful, but I'm happy that he's in heaven. Cheers to a truly inspiring man.

Anyway, Taz (my kitten) has gotten so big! I love that cat so much. This morning he weighed in at 7 1/2 lbs, and he's about five and a half months old.

Well, I listened to Lily, and she was right! TANGLED is out on Nexflix Instant! I watched it the other night. I love that movie, although what I'm really into is MONK. It's on Nexflix, too. It's a TV series about a brilliant but phobia-harassed detective. It's funny, mysterious, and so entertaining all at once. I would absolutely recommend it!

I'll be back soon!

Well, my laptop isn't fixed yet. But I'm on my mom's laptop, so it kinda works. As you all can tell, the theme is new, as well as the font. Check out the poll at the bottom of the home page to answer whether you like it or not! :)

Another life update: Well, I had my first theater class last Wednesday. Since it was the first, we spent the time getting to know each other, practicing a song for the play, and playing a quick game that would help us with "projecting on stage." This Wednesday, I'll auditon. I'm so excited; this will be my first year in a theater class and I am so, so, so pysched! We are doing a Christian rendition of Sleeping Beauty. The lady who directs is so talented and sweet.

My kitten is curled up next to me as I'm typing this. (Check my last post for pics of him!) Oh, that reminds me: here's a link to my favorite site, LOLcats, or I Can Has Cheezburger. It's a site where they take pictures of cats that people submit and add captions; some are so hilarious! You can make an account and create your own "lols" (pics with captions) with the pictures people post publicly for that reason, vote for how good an lol is, abnd check out other member's pages. It. Is. Awesome! So funny. Just type in LOLcats in Googlesearch and click the first link for I Can Has Cheezburger, and poof! You're there. :)

That's about all I have to say! Thanks for reading :D Ooh look ! with this font my smiley has teeth!!

Hey Y'all. Haha, I don't know what that's all about, just felt like being Paula Deen for a sec. Well, anyway, just thought I'd tell you guys: my laptop, once again, broke down. I'm on my brother's right now. So it may be awhile before I update or post. . . :(

I know, I'm sad about it too. I'll try to fix the problem and be back soon! Thanks for the patience!

(Oh, and as consolation, here's a link to Paula with all of her recipes and videos and such. Paula Deen is my favorite chef; I've learned so much from her. Also, try checking out her Youtube Channel for videos.)

By the way, check out the new True Story!

<3 <3 <3
Hi everyone! I know its been a while since you've had a "life update" on me, so here goes!

Well, GUESS WHAT! For my dad's birthday next month, we're going to go DEEP-SEA FISHING! Out on the gorgeous September ocean! We'll be fishing for tuna and marlin, mainly, or anything else largish that happens to bite our hooks. PYSCHED!

Turns out that as a birthday present I'm keeping one of the kittens we're fostering. He is a such a sweet boy! Jet black, with a fun-loving personality, although when he's sleepy he is just precious. Here are some of his darling pictures: (Now be forewarned, I'm NOT a good photographer!)
Isn't he sweet? I love him! Precious boy. He'll be my second cat. The other, one, Sam (antha) is a girl and very sweet. She's older, though. We have another cat, too, but he doesn't really pay attention to me. :D

Today, we got some bad weather from hurricane Irene. Torrential rain, very dark skies and gusty, chilly wind, as well as several long power-outages. Over 1,000,000 people are without power right now!

Irene wasn't very pleasant, but I'm very glad and grateful that no one got hurt (where I live, at least). A few trees got knocked down but that's about it.

That's all I've got to say. I'll be back soon! Thanks for reading!

Hey guys. I have to be brief so please excuse the choppy sentences. Okay, so: I accidently deleted Simply Food. I will not recreate it; it was too much effort to photograph, cook and blog about the food I eat daily. So with my dear friend Rebekah, another site shall come forth. A much-less-maintenance site. I am sorry about Simply Food and I'm sorry that it wasn't really up for very long.

Thanks. More details later.
